The  ABBA was created to provide premium registry services including DNA profiling and temperment testing with excellent customer service including service guarantees.

We host fair, fun and educational family dog shows that encourage and support dog sports. We call it “competitive edutainment” because we offer the traditional dog show classes, training and educational classes, dog sports, games and show classes for kids and combine it with entertainment in a family BBQ/picnic setting.

ABBA Mission

To serve as a liasion for the public and the media with the goal of promoting acceptance, understanding, recognition and knowledge of the bully breeds and breeders

• To serve as a clearinghouse of information and education for our membership
• To promote activities that support bully breeds as healthy, sound, balanced and beautiful dogs
• Rehabilitate the image of the modern American Pit Bull Terrier and the American Bully by showcasing their stability, beauty, versatility and stable temperament
• Promote and position the American Bully as a suitable all around companion and working dog for the United States and the World.

Q: Why do we need another registry especially another bully registry?

A: First, Americans love having choices and that is what the ABBA represents. An alternative or addition.

Second, the ABBA offers an innovative selection of new services and programs and lives up to its reputation as the “premium” bully breed registry. So in that way, the ABBA is different from any other registry that has come before it.

By incorporating performance and temperament as a fundamental component of the registry and requirement for show championship, it elevates temperament and performance into primary considerations for breeders of the American Bully.

By doing this, the ABBA hopes to rehabilitate the image of the breed and prove to the world that bully breeds are intelligent, loving and capable canines with excellent dispositions.

The ABBA also hopes to encourage the breeder community to improve and strengthen the American Bully’s structure, strength and vitality, unique charactertistics of the breed.

The creation of ABBA is the positive and inevitable result of growth and changes within this diverse community.
